We implement SIWES in a pragmatic manner to empower students to succeed in life. We equip students with the required industry attitude, skills, knowledge and experience to become more productive in workplace.

STUDENTS' INDUSTRIAL WORK EXPERIENCE SCHEME

The Students' Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) is an accepted skills programme which exposes the students to industry based skills necessary for a smooth transition from the classroom to the world of work and forms part of the approved academic standards. In 1973, the Federal Governement of Nigeria introduced the national policy on Industrial Training (SIWES). This programme is under Ministry of Education through the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), and was designed to help students acquire the necessary practical education/experience in their fields of study and other related professions. Also to solve the problem of lack of adequate practical skills preparatory for employment in industries by Nigerian graduates of tertiary institutions.
Participation in SIWES has become a necessary pre-condition for the award of Diploma and Degree certificates in specific disciplines in most higher learning in Nigeria, in accordance with the education policy of government.

PROGRAMME REQUIREMENTS

(1) You must be a students of Computer Science, Infotech, or any other related Computer Information Departments. (No Computer Engineering please).
(2) It is highly recommended that you have a Laptop Computer.
(3) You must first register on our FTA-SIWES Portal, print your FTA-SIWES Reg Data and attach it to your SIWES Placement letter and bring to our office.
(4) You must come with your Student's ID Card for Identification purpose.
(5) Once you start your Programme, you must always come to office with your Log-Book.
(6) You must show zeal to learn and put on good behaviour and character as our company will not hesitate to terminate your programme at any time if you fail in this regard.
(7) We shall verify your studentship from your institution before or during your programme with us, if found to be untrue, you shall be handed over to the appropriate security agency for fraud offences.
(8) You must be residing in Osogbo as our office is located within Osogbo, Osun State.
(9) Our company do not offer monetary incentives to SIWES students.
